About Me

I'm a writer and creative with a passion for hosting.

For the past 12 years I've worked in advertising, writing campaigns for brands including IKEA, Amazon Prime, Lurpak, KFC and TK Maxx. But alongside my career, I've always been drawn to creating spaces where people feel inspired to share ideas, make things and connect with one another.

After becoming a mother, I found myself craving something I couldn't quite put my finger on. It wasn't just time off or a weekend away. It certainly wasn’t exercise. It was creativity and new ideas. The feeling of sitting around a table with interesting people and leaving with your mind buzzing.

So I started writing Mumfiltered.

What began as a weekly newsletter has evolved into interviews with inspiring women, intimate creative gatherings and retreats designed to bring people together.

I believe some of the best ideas start over a long lunch. That creativity isn't reserved for artists. And that we're all a bit better off when we make time to make things.

Whether you've come to read an essay, join a retreat or share an idea, I'm so pleased you're here.
